This is an advance fire fighting course and ideal for industrial fire teams. It covers the foundation knowledge of fire behaviour, but goes into detail about the different fire detection and extinguishing agents. It equips the learner to perform a fire risk assessment of the workplace, as well as developing an emergency evacuation plan and procedure. The practical skills obtained covers handheld fire extinguishers, hose and hydrant operation. Learners will receive a certificate of competency that is valid for 2 years.
